Winter Writers Series - Wednesday Evenings at Lind Pavilion

Join us at the Lind Pavilion on Wednesday to meet Cathryn Cofell, winner of the Council for Wisconsin Writers’ Lorine Niedecker Poetry Award. Cathryn and her writing partner, Karla Huston, will read from Split Personality, their first collaborative chapbook, and talk about the process of turning two voices into one. Between them, they have published 17 books of poems, two broadsides, one music/poetry CD, and oodles of interviews and essays.

This is the fourth installment in Shake Rag Alley's 2015-2016 Winter Writers Series - ongoing winter Wednesday Evening Literary happenings at the Lind Pavilion.  Since 2011 Shake Rag Alley has partnered with the Council for Wisconsin Writers (CWW), Wisconsin People & Ideas, and the Wisconsin Poet Laureate Commission through the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters to offer week-long residencies to their annual writing contest winners. During their stay, the writers participate in  workshops, readings and community outreach activities.
