Silver Bracelet Workshop with Kay Rashka

Kay Rashka will be teaching an extended 4-day workshop this month.  Kay has taught numerous metal-smithing and jewelry-making techniques for the past 15 years, after beginning metal-smithing over 25 years ago to satisfy her craving for silver jewelry. Recent teaching venues include Shake Rag Alley, Milwaukee Bead and Button Show, Sievers School of Fiber Art, the Madison Art Glass Bead Show and Peninsula School of Art. Her work is currently available at The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art Museum Store.  She is the author of a recently published book, “Bead Meets Metal” which incorporates her sculptural metals designs with beads and found objects. She has also had a soldered earrings project published on the cover of the September, 2011 issue of Art Jewelry magazine.
