Valentine Sale Preview

Cindy Gorder's amazing card made from
recycled paper
Shake Rag's artisans and crafters have been very, very busy creating valentines for the Sweet Heart Art Valentine Card and Gift Sale on January 28th and 29th.

So we thought we'd give you a sneak peek at just some of their wonderful creations.

Artisan/crafter extraordinaire, Cindy Gorder, made the valentine pictured on the left entirely from recyled paper (junk mail envelopes and the like) which she colored and made into gorgeous flowers. Amazing!

Cheryl's pop-up card front
Equally amazing are Cheryl Smeja's pop-up cards. True to form our resident techie always comes up with clever wizardry. We hear she's also going to do more of those pull tab cards that change color...the cards that last year had us all asking "How'd she do THAT?".

And new this year, Cheryl has come up with a wonderful twist on the custom made valentines we always offer. This year, you can bring a photo (or have one taken on the spot). Cheryl will scan the photo and insert it into an artist-designed card. There will be a number of designs to choose from. Here's a sample card with a photo inserted into one of Judy Sutcliffe's playful drawings.

There were so many terrific cards that we really had a hard time selecting just a sampling to show you. There will be cards of every description, in all price ranges, and for every possible valentine recipient - fancy cards, mushy cards, whimsical cards, kid's cards, you name it. Plus great gift items and of course, the irresistibly decadent chocolate table. You REALLY don't want to miss this sale.

More sample cards - enjoy!
